Curacao Collection

The UNESCO World Heritage buildings here are renowned for their bright colors and dutch architecture. Formerly the buildings were painted all white, long ago the governor complained of headaches from the bright white paint in the hot caribbean sun, and ordered everyone to paint their buildings. Later we learn he had a stake in the only paint store on the island. But we reap the benefits to this day for his 'headaches' with beautiful downtown Willemstad.
